How to import a PGP certificate (including private key) into macOS Keychain Access

Goal: I want to use this certificate to sign pdf in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe pulls “Digital IDs” from Keychain Access, nowhere else it seems, hence my need to import the certificate into Keychain Access.

The PGP certificate is in base64 coding, inside a .asc file, and the content looks like this:

-----BEGIN PGP PRIVATE KEY BLOCK-----
[base64]
-----END PGP PRIVATE KEY BLOCK-----
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
[base64]
-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----

I assume I have to convert it to PKCS12 first (.p12 file), then import it, but I can't figure out how to do this using openssl or gpg so far…
